Pressure

Say how firm. We go there.

No scale to decode. Tell us light, medium or firm when you lie down, and say so again halfway if it should change.

  • 01

    Light

Slow, flat-hand strokes with little weight behind them. A good place to start if massage is new, or if today isn't a day for more.

  • 02

    Medium

Steady pressure through the big muscles of the back, hips and legs. You feel it, and you can talk through it.

  • 03

    Firm

Deep, slow work with thumbs and forearms where you ask for it. Say "ease up" at any point and we do.

After an injury

Massage after an injury, with your doctor's go-ahead

If you're coming back from an injury, we can work around it once your doctor says it's all right. Bring their instructions and tell us what's off limits.

  • Your doctor clears you first

  • You tell us what to leave alone

  • We stop whenever you ask

Questions

Before you book

Can I come straight from skiing or a run?

Yes. Leave your boots at the door and we'll give you a minute to change and wash your hands. Arrive ten minutes early.

What do I wear?

Whatever you're comfortable in. You undress to your comfort level and are draped with a sheet the whole time; only the part we're working on is uncovered.

How do I know which length to book?

Thirty minutes covers one area, an hour covers the whole body with extra time on a few spots, and ninety minutes gives a second pass. Call if you'd like help choosing.

Can I book a massage after an injury?
